When you’re planning a meeting in the Twin Cities – finding the perfect location is key. Do you need lots of smaller rooms for breakout sessions? Are you bringing in a big name speaker to address a group? A large meeting room or amphitheater in the Twin Cities might be perfect for your event.

Before you decide to book your meeting or event location:

  • Create a site inspection checklist. You can use this list to evaluate different sites and not worry about forgetting to ask a key question on something you’ll need.
  • Visit each meeting room at the location you’re considering for your event. You’ll get a good idea of the different rooms available, how much flexibility you’ll have with setup and you’ll get to see the spaces surrounding the rooms for relaxing between sessions.
  • Sample the food at the meeting location if possible. Great food and attention to detail from your event planner are key to hosting a successful meeting.
  • Work with your site to coordinate packages for your attendees. If you’re having a meeting at a hotel and have people coming in from out of town to attend, make it easy for them to simply stay on site.
